Get Creative with your Marketing

With all the other things a business owner has to do daily, finding time to brainstorm creative marketing ideas may be tough. Many business owners think that in order to be creative, they are going to have to spend a lot of money, but that is not the case! There are several different ways you can get your name out there while sticking to a budget.

Twitter and Facebook Giveways

Reward your followers by entering them into a contest to win a prize. This is a great way to get new followers and thank your current ones for supporting your company. The prize given can be as simple or elaborate as your budget affords. Always make sure you specify when the contest ends and don’t forget to announce who won!

Educational Seminars
Conduct seminars to show people why the product or service you offer is the best! This is an easy way to get people together and interested in what you have to offer. Include a meal to help boost participant numbers.

Have an Open House
Invite people to your location to meet you and your staff face to face. Make it a fun and relaxed environment by offering food, drinks and entertainment. Invite city officials and tell the press to gain more exposure.

Use Creative Marketing Materials and Promotional Items

Your letterhead, business cards, and other promotional materials don’t have to be the standard, boring templates that you are used to seeing. Most print shops can print on a variety of different materials and use die cuts to give your business cards or letterhead a unique shape. If your marketing materials look different, they become more memorable.
The above are just a few ways you can make marketing your company both fun and effective without spending a fortune. Has your company done any of the above? How did they turn out? Do you have any others ideas? We would love to hear about them!
