1. What does your company do, and where can we go for more information?
Mobile Meals is a third party restaurant delivery service that operates in the Greater Brandon, South Tampa, and New Tampa areas. We provide cost effective, professional delivery from your favorite restaurants. For more information, see www.mobilemeals.com.

2. How long has your company been in business?
We have been in business about a year. Honestly, with the rate that we have been growing, this first year really "flew" by.

3. What is the most exciting part of your business?
The most exciting parts of our business work two fold. The first part would be seeing the constant influx of new customers. Anytime you have a heavy increase in your customer base, you are providing a service that the public has responded positively to. The second part would be seeing those customers satisfied with our service and returning to order with us again. Getting customers to try our service out is one thing, but getting that same customer to return again and again hinges on delivering a quality service. We feel we can offer our customers that kind of service.

4. What methods do you use to communicate with your clients and prospects?
We use a variety of methods to communicate to our clients and prospects. At Mobile Meals our clientele is broad based so we have to reach them in every way possible. We have done a lot of print advertising in local newspapers and local publications, Google adwords, direct mail, signage, door hangers, faxing, SEO, and almost anything that we come across we tend to try at least once.

5. What are your biggest obstacles?
As with any business, there will always be obstacles. However, I wouldn't say our business experience at Mobile Meals has been obstacle-ridden - we are truly fortunate. I guess if we had any "obstacles" it would be assuring our customers there is no "catch" to our service. A simple $2.99 delivery fee for food delivery seems too good to be true sometimes.

6. What sets your company apart from others in your industry?
Well, in the past, companies in our industry have set out with dollar signs as their primary incentive to conduct business. While making money is an integral part of business, it is not the primary focus of our company. We feel that providing a truly professional, top-notch service is the most important aspect of business. If you provide a phenomenal service that is continually improving each and every day, then the chips will fall in place accordingly.

7. What have you found to be your most effective marketing effort?
Due to the fact that roughly three quarters of our business comes from our online clientele (as opposed to calling in to our Customer Service Representatives), I would say our e-Newsletter hosted through ACF reaches the most people. We frequently send out our newsletters out to thousands of people in order to keep them in the "loop."

8. How are you using social media to promote your business?
The increasing popularity and just overall commonplace acceptance of the online networking services seems to be booming. As such, we did not hesitate to dive into the MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter networks to keep our customers and future prospects up to date on our day to day operations here at Mobile Meals. I was skeptical at first about the effects, but the advantages were blatantly obvious after just a few days of using these services.


9. How has technology benefited your business?

That's a great question simply because technology has played a huge part in our business. I couldn't even imagine running our business without some of the tools we have today. Whether it's our food maintenance equipment to keep the food's integrity intact or our state of the art order management software, we have been (and continue to be) affected by the newest technology available to our field. Each and every new technological advancement boosts our efficiency, which is key in our line of business.

10. What is your goal(s) for the next 5 and 10 years?
Our goals for the upcoming years are fairly simple. We want to continue to hone every possible aspect of our business. Nothing is perfect - but we aim for the pursuit of perfection. Also, we want to expand and offer our service to a much larger delivery area. We constantly get requests from a multitude of areas by potential customers asking "How long until you expand to my area?"
